Manna Dey Sangeet Academy Award, 2010

On 27th March 2010, Manna Dey Sangeet Academy, held a Grand Music Competition at Manna Dey Music Archive room of Rabindra Bharati University at Sangeet Bhava of Jora sanko Campus in Kolkata.

The Judges’ chairs were glorified by two most eminent Music Directors, Sri Mrinal Bandyopadhyay and Srimati Ashima Mukhopadhyay and the great musician Sri Protap Roy.

It was a sort of Music work shop as was declared by Sri Mrinal Bandhopadhaya in his speech, where the judges did their best to rectify and specify, how they should sing in the coming days for their betterment in this field.

This ended with two rounds of Music presentation by the competitors, where they put in their best efforts.

The result that was declared at the end of the program, by the President of Manna Dey Sangeet Academy is as follows -

The 1^st position was shared by three competitors:

 i)  Sanat Paul

ii)  Soumen Bhattacharyya

iii) Somjit Chatterjee

The 2^nd position was shared by two:

 i)  Mou Das

ii) Sahana Bhattacharyya

 And the 3^rd position was achieved by only one:

i) Saraswati Baguli Mondal
