Our Academy’s founder member and PRO of Rabindra Bharati University Smt Suranjana Bhattacharya is no more. She was suffering from cancer and was under prolonged medical supervision for the last couple of years. Finally on 19th October 2013 in the evening she started her journey for the eternal abode. She was the key person to establish our Academy’s Archive at Jorasanko Sangeet Bhawan of Rabindra Bharati University. The members of the Academy will remind her forever.
